Dr Parisa Arianejad

Dermatologist
MD FACD

Dr Parisa Arianejad (FACD, MD) holds fellowships in dermatology from the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She received her Medical Doctorate from Tehran University of Medical Science.

Dr Arianejad is the principal dermatologist at Aurora Dermatology and runs a specialised hair clinic at Westmead Public Hospital.

Additionally, she is a member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the global not-for-profit medical body dedicated to promoting the gold standard of medical practice and medical ethics in hair restoration.

Dr Parisa worked for several years at Sinclair Dermatology in Melbourne, training with world-leading professionals in hair disease. Her expertise includes treating complex hair disorders such as scarring and non-scarring alopecia.

She has a special interest in the treatment of frontal fibrosing alopecia, alopecia areata, and androgenetic alopecia, as well as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) transplant. She was also a co-investigator in groundbreaking clinical trials for biologics in the treatment of psoriasis and eczema.

Her professional journey includes roles at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Pymble Dermatology, The Melanoma Institute of Australia, Gosford Dermatology and the Gunnedah Rural Health Centre. Dr Arianejad also specialises in laser treatments, burn scars, acne scarring and trauma scars and offers bulk-billed phototherapy and biologic treatments for eczema and psoriasis.

With experience in rural Australia and areas with high Asian density populations, Dr Parisa’s global training provides exceptional insight into treating culturally specific skin conditions, including skin cancers, acne, melasma, freckles, hyperpigmentations, aged skin and rejuvenation.

Dr Parisa is fluent in both Farsi and English languages.

Azita Damadan

Practice Manager and Registered Nurse

Azita is the Practice Manager at Aurora Dermatology Clinic. She brings over 17 years of experience as a registered nurse, specialising as a scrub/scout nurse in Sydney’s operating rooms. Azita also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery, further enhancing her comprehensive medical expertise. Now, she channels her leadership skills into managing the clinic. Alongside her medical background, she is an accomplished writer, director, and producer with over 30 years of experience in the film industry, having recently released her first feature film globally. Azita combines her passion for healthcare, creativity, and leadership to ensure a smooth, efficient, and compassionate practice environment for both the team and patients.

Cosmetic Registered Nurse

Elaine is an experienced registered nurse with specialised training in cosmetic
treatments. She holds a graduate certificate in cosmetic nursing and injectable
treatment. Known for her attention to detail, Elaine excels in administering cosmetic
treatments, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for hair restoration, laser treatments,
phototherapy and assisting with surgeries.

Registered Nurse

Catherine Liu is a Registered Nurse with 14 years of nursing experience in Australia and overseas.
She works closely with Dr Arianejad, assisting with many treatments and procedures, and also performs phototherapy treatment for patients. Catherine has a friendly and caring nature, and she is committed to providing the gold standard of dermatological care to our patients.
Catherine can speak both Mandarin and English fluently and is a cosmetic nurse with extensive experience in laser procedures.

Head Administration
BSc BSc (Psych.)

Mehrsa Kapsalis is the head administration at Aurora Dermatology.
She has a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Human Physiology and genetic disorders. Mehrsa is passionate is committed to obtaining the highest level of patient satisfaction by ensuring regulatory compliance and adhering to practice standards. She is fluent in English and Farsi and passionate about building rapport with patients young and old. Mehrsa can assist with appointment bookings, scheduling procedures, billings, feedback and complaints, compliance, accreditation and standards.

Breeana Sokic

Laser Therapist & Receptionist

Breanna is a skilled laser therapist, dedicated to providing excellent care and personalised treatments for our patients. She is also our receptionist, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for everyone who visits Aurora Dermatology.
