Dr Parisa Arianejad (FACD, MD) holds fellowships in dermatology from the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She received her Medical Doctorate from Tehran University of Medical Science.

Dr Arianejad is the principal dermatologist at Aurora Dermatology and runs a specialised hair clinic at Westmead Public Hospital.

Additionally, she is a member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the global not-for-profit medical body dedicated to promoting the gold standard of medical practice and medical ethics in hair restoration.

Dr Parisa worked for several years at Sinclair Dermatology in Melbourne, training with world-leading professionals in hair disease. Her expertise includes treating complex hair disorders such as scarring and non-scarring alopecia.

She has a special interest in the treatment of frontal fibrosing alopecia, alopecia areata, and androgenetic alopecia, as well as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) transplant. She was also a co-investigator in groundbreaking clinical trials for biologics in the treatment of psoriasis and eczema.

Her professional journey includes roles at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Pymble Dermatology, The Melanoma Institute of Australia, Gosford Dermatology and the Gunnedah Rural Health Centre. Dr Arianejad also specialises in laser treatments, burn scars, acne scarring and trauma scars and offers bulk-billed phototherapy and biologic treatments for eczema and psoriasis.

With experience in rural Australia and areas with high Asian density populations, Dr Parisa’s global training provides exceptional insight into treating culturally specific skin conditions, including skin cancers, acne, melasma, freckles, hyperpigmentations, aged skin and rejuvenation.

Dr Parisa is fluent in both Farsi and English languages.
